Trainer
Job Summary
The Trainer is responsible for delivering effective training programs, developing employees’ skills and knowledge, and ensuring that learning objectives align with organizational goals. The Trainer supports the professional development of staff and contributes to overall performance improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver training sessions, workshops, and courses for employees.
- Assess training needs in collaboration with department heads and HR.
- Develop training materials, manuals, and resources.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and follow-ups.
- Provide coaching and guidance to employees to enhance performance and skills.
- Maintain records of training attendance, progress, and certifications.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and learning technologies.
- Support the development of new training programs and initiatives.
- Ensure training sessions comply with company policies and standards.
Authority & Responsibility
- Conduct training sessions independently within assigned programs.
- Recommend improvements to training content and delivery methods.
- Escalate issues related to training effectiveness or employee performance to supervisors.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in HSE, or Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- Proven experience as a Trainer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of training methods, adult learning principles, and instructional design.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and e-learning platforms (if applicable).
