The Highfield Level 3 International Award in First Aid at Work and Use of an AED in Oman, delivered by Quality Training Institute (QTI), equips learners with advanced knowledge and practical skills to respond to workplace emergencies. This Highfield First Aid course in Oman covers CPR for all ages, casualty management, injury and illness response, and safe AED operation. Participants who successfully complete receive a 3-year internationally recognized certificate, supporting compliance across oil & gas, construction, healthcare, and industrial workplaces.
Prerequisites
- Minimum age: 14 years. Learners must be physically capable of completing assessments and have sufficient language ability
Learning Objectives
- Understand first aider roles and infection control.
- Conduct scene and casualty assessments.
- Deliver CPR and manage choking for adults, children, and infants.
- Provide first aid for shock, bleeding, minor injuries, and fractures.
- Manage casualties with burns, chest, spinal, and head injuries.
- Recognize and treat major illnesses and poisoning.
- Safely operate and integrate AED with CPR.
